You don’t need a certain number of dives or advanced diving experience to enter the PADI Advanced Open Water course. The course is designed to advance your diving skills and build confidence underwater. Students are encouraged to take this course right after PADI Open Water Diver certification. During your Advanced Open Water, you do not need to pass an exam, and the only “homework” you have to do consists of five Knowledge Reviews from the Adventure dives you will choose.

Mandatory Adventures Dives: Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation
You might have always dreamt about diving deeper, and you want to challenge yourself. The Deep Dive Adventure will provide both to you. Dive down to 30meters/100feet with your instructor, and practice some interesting exercises to see how the pressure at that depth affects the environment and your body. You will also learn more about dive planning and risk management.

You might have also felt disoriented at times underwater, and wondered how your guide was able to guide himself or herself underwater. The Underwater Navigation Adventure will help you understand how to get your bearings while scuba diving, enhance your compass skills, and orient yourself using the natural underwater landscape.

Have you wondered what it’s like underwater once the sun is set? You can finally have your answer with the Night Dive Adventure. There are more to discover that you cannot find during the day.
Are you are amazed by how close your instructor can get to the reef without damaging it? the Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure will help you improve not only your buoyancy, but also your position and your kicking underwater.
Do you always see amazing fish, but are never able to describe them or remember their names? The Fish Identification Adventure is made for you. You will learn more about fish species and how to recognize one species from another.
Titanic is your favourite movie and you always dreamt about diving on a shipwreck? The Wreck Dive Adventure brings you down to a sunken ship to observe how an artificial reef can be home to thousands of fish. You will as well learn about hazards and how to stay safe while wreck diving.
Do you want to let the current carry you? The Drift Dive Adventure will teach you the proper techniques to dive in the current. You will learn the negative entry technique and much more during this fantastic experience.

Programme Structure :

The Advanced course consists of 5 open water dives, each focusing on a different subject/area of diving. It takes 2 to 3 days to complete the course. Each dive you do is called an ‘Adventure dive’: there are 2 compulsory ones (deep dive and underwater navigation) and then you can choose 3 more from the following Adventure dives :

Boat diving
Drift diving
Multilevel and Computer diving
Night diving
Peak performance buoyancy
Search and Recovery
Underwater naturalist
Underwater digital photography
Wreck diving

When you sign up for the course you’ll receive a PADI Adventures in Diving manual. This book includes a chapter on each Adventure dive above, as well as many others which we do not offer on here on Koh Phi Phi (e.g. altitude and dry suit diving!). At the end of each chapter there is a page of knowledge review questions, which you will need to complete for each of the 5 dives you choose. There is no exam or movie for the Advanced course.

Package Details :

Our boat does half day trips (2 dives and lunch) every day, generally leaving at around 9 am and returning at 2 pm. All equipment and lunch onboard is included, the course is generally completed over 2 half-day trips and the 5th dive either being a night or shore dive. After the course you will receive a temporary licence lasting for 90 days from your instructor, and in the meantime PADI will process your permanent licence and send it to your home address.

Leisure Dive Center now offers a new sunset dive trip which consists of 1 day dive, dinner onboard and 1 night dive. This trip can be included into your PADI Advanced course schedule.

More Details :

After successfully completing this two-day course, you will be a certified Advanced Open Water diver and will be certified to dive anywhere around the globe down to 30meters/100feet. You will receive a temporary card by email within 7 days and your permanent card within 30 days.

No charge will be levied on cancellation made more than 21 day(s) latest by 6:00 PM prior to the Booking or Check-In Date.
Cancellation made between 14 day(s) and 20 day(s) will be charged 50% from the total amont of room reserved.
Cancellation made between 0 day(s) and 13 day(s) will be charged 100% from the total amount of room reserved.
No show will be charged 100% from the total amount of reservation.
Any case of refund is subject to deduction of bank commissions occurred for remittance.
