Programme Structure :

Confined Water sessions : Learn basic and essential scuba skills. Either in our nice pool or in a quiet bay, you will put your knowledge on practice. With your instructor, you will go over more than 20 skills. It is a simple observe and copy me exercise, with your instructor demonstrating each skill for you to understand and then replicate. During these training confined water sessions, you learn how to use the scuba diving gear with our well-maintained equipment.

Open Water Dives :  Use your freshly learned skills and explore the underwater beauty of the Phi Phi marine national park. Now the real fun begins with four open water dives gradually working toward the maximum allowed depth (18meters/60 feet). Experience the weightless underwater world and explore the beautiful coral reefs we have here all-around Phi Phi Islands.

• Day 1 – Upon enrolling in the course you will receive a PADI Open Water manual (available in many languages) and the corresponding course DVD. The movie consists of 5 chapters, each lasting between 25 and 45 minutes. You can watch the DVD in our classroom where your instructor will be close by ready to answer any questions you may have. Students normally watch the first 3 chapters on the first day of the course before going in the water.
• Day 2 – Now the diving begins! You will meet with your PADI instructor who will teach you how to set up your dive gear before taking you into shallow water either off the beach or in the swimming pool to practice some diving skills. This session lasts approximately 2-3 hours, then you have the rest of the day free to watch the remaining chapters of the movie or complete some quizzes. At the end of each chapter of the manual there is a page of questions called ‘knowledge reviews’ which you’ll need to complete so you can discuss them with your instructor the following day.
• Day 3 – You’ll jump onto our spacious dive boat for a half-day trip diving around the Phi Phi marine park. On the way to the first site you’ll go over a dive briefing with your instructor which will prepare you for your dive, then you’ll go for your first dive in open water! The first dive includes a couple of exercises you practiced in the pool but will mainly focus on your swimming and buoyancy skills and of course look at all the amazing fish around you! After the first dive we moor the boat up in a sheltered bay around either Phi Phi Don or Leh and have some lunch. You then have some time to snorkel or relax in the sun before jumping in for the second dive. This time there are a few more skills that you practiced the day before during the dive, but still time to enjoy the fish. By the time you return to the beach at around 2pm, you’ll already have completed enough of the course to be certified as a PADI Scuba Diver! In the evening you will watch the rest of the DVD (chapters 4 & 5) and finish off the knowledge review questions.
• Day 4 – You’re almost there! You’ll go onto the boat once again to do dives 3 and 4 of the course. This time you will be go to a maximum depth of 18 metres. Again you’ll spend the first few minutes of the dives doing some exercises before continuing on a normal fun dive. When you return to Laemtong beach, you can go back to your hotel to relax for a few hours, then come back to the shop in the evening to complete the final test and certification paperwork. Your instructor will issue you a temporary licence which you can dive with straight away for 90 days, and in the meantime PADI will process your permanent card and send it to your home address, usually within 30 days.

Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds and is the first step underwater for the younger ones. Have a party or celebrate a birthday 

Bubblemaker offers the possibility to your children to use scuba gear and make their first bubbles in the shallow water under the direct care and supervision of an instructor. They will also learn about scuba diving equipment made for children, not adults. Above all of that, we guarantee that your children will have a lot of fun by swimming with really colorful fish and more in quiet and shallow, less than 2 meters/6 feet, water.

Kids must be 8 years old or older and must be comfortable in the water but no prior diving experience is necessary. Parental approval is required.
